Academic Mechanical Institute has a training and retraining centre for drivers which trains future motorists so that they not just learn to masterly drive the automobile but to instinctively react on emergency cases and at the same time get real pleasure of driving. The centre promotes the most popular courses and author methodologies of transport driving teaching skills, trains drivers who are familiarized with road traffic rules and respect other road users.
Academic Mechanical Institute was established on the basis of a faculty which started its activity much time ago in 1936.
In the course of its longtime existence the institute has introduced deep traditions of scientific and teaching activity for training of engineers.
During that time the institute trained and educated thousands of highly professional specialists including head officials of state establishments, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, PhDs, professors, associate professors.
Nowadays professor and lecturer team of the institute following old traditions persistently works with purpose to advance the level of organization of academic activity, professional training of specialists and Masters.
While studying at the institute students have a wide range of possibilities to run social and scientific and research activity, to go in for sports, amateur performances. There are many winners and prize winners of Ukraine-wide and international Olympiads among them.
