Material and technical resources
In its activity the Institute uses scientific, academic and methodological potential of the university and has its own material resources which consist of learning and administrative building with total area of 1300 square meters, 8 equipped classrooms, computer classroom with 16 work places, sports hall, library affiliate, separate residential sections in the dormitory of the university.
Library stock includes 1100 exemplars of modern textbooks and study guides as well as 2000 methodology guidelines for studying of particular disciplines.
Teaching process is arranged in accordance with modern requirements: equipped lecture halls, computer and software, office appliances, specifically prepared learning and methodological complexes as well as multimedia support of disciplines.
Institute of Postgraduate Education of the National University of Water Management and Nature Resources Use was established in accordance with decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 592 of December 15, 2000 and decree of Rector of Rivne State Technical University No. 9 of January 11, 2001 on the basis of the faculty of advanced training for specialists, since 1979 it functioned within Ukrainian Institute of Hydraulic Engineers and special faculty for specialists retraining set up in 1993.
The Institute runs training activity according to license of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine and is entitled to carry out training, retraining of specialists of educational and qualification “Specialist’s” or “Master’s” degrees, “Bachelor’s” educational degree, to carry out advanced training in all accredited specialties of educational and scientific institutes of the National University of Water Management and Nature Recourses Use:
Training/retraining of specialists considers obtaining a specialty/other specialty on the basis of educational/educational and qualification level and practical experience earlier obtained.
Training is held at full-time, extramural departments.
