In the framework of cooperation with NPPs that are part of NNEGC Energoatom, an online meeting was held with representatives of nuclear power plants - General Director of Khmelnitsky NPP Andriy Kozyura? General Director of Rivne NPP Pavel Pavlyshyn and Deputy of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) Oleksandr Kovalchuk.
The guests were greeted by Rector Viktor Moshinskyi and noted the importance of the university and the institution's ability to train modern and qualified specialists for nuclear power plants. After all, back in 2019, NUWEE became one of the profile freelancers in training specialists for NNEGC Energoatom. For his part, Deputy Oleksandr Kovalchuk assured of assistance at the local and state levels in supporting issues related to training in the field of nuclear energy.
Pavlo Pavlyshyn made a presentation of Rivne NPP. The head of the enterprise noted that NUWEE trains specialists in the areas relevant to the nuclear industry and the enterprise in particular. Currently, the NPP staff includes more than 500 university graduates. At the same time, Pavlo Pavlyshyn noted the need for qualified specialists at nuclear power plants: power engineers, electricians, IT specialists, electricians, hydropower engineers. After all, the "staff shortage" is projected to grow in the next five years.
The General Director of Khmelnitsky NPP Andriy Kozyura, noted the importance of deepening cooperation with the university on the quality of training of in-demand specialists. In addition, Mr Kozyura spoke about a number of benefits for employees of the company, privileges and presented the available vacancies.
